4 mm Piezo Stage with 1nm resolution

Long travel range piezo motor driver linear stage from Micronix. Open loop resolution of 1 nm with optional closed loop digital readout that can provide resolution of 20 nm with an accuracy of +/- 10 µm. Standard piezo stages are made of aluminum with optional stainless steel or titanium construction upon request. In addition this Micronix nanopositioning stage can be optimized for vacuum or high vacuum environments. Steel ball construction design allows for a low profile piezo stage; less then 7 mm which is ideal for integration into applications requiring a compact high performance nanopositioning system. The use of standard adapter plates makes this stage easily configurable into a XY translation stage. Piezo motor drive allows for speeds of 1 mm/s or 3 mm/s. High load capacity of 0.25 kg.
