200mm Diameter Motorized Rotary Stage, 4 arcsec

Aluminum alloy 200mm motorized rotary stage is offered by Newmark Systems. The RM-8 series can be built either with a stepper-motor for precise motion or for lower cost a servo-motor option is available. With the high performance steper motor the Newmark Systems rotary stage has a resolution of 0.32 arc-seconds with uni-directional repeatability of 5 arc-seconds. Optional optical rotary encoder is mounted to rear of motor. The servo-motor has speeds up to 100°/second for high speed alignment applications. To minimize backlash of the system the rotary stage uses a worm gear with preloaded bearings.
