Motorized Linear Stage, Cross Roller Bearings

The Primatics model PXL33A-110 is a small form factor, high precision linear motion stage with an anti-creep cage cross roller linear bearings. This model provides 110 mm of travel and 10 nm resolution.

Because of its compact size, this model is ideal for space constrained applications. For scanning applications, it can yield extremely high smooth motion due to its iron-less linear motor and high resolution encoder. The encoder is a precision linear encoder with index at the center of travel. The PXL33B-110 version has the ability to make nanometer level steps, which makes process corrections very easy. It features a standard forward and reverse limit sensor, multiple resolutions and clock frequencies, along with a 1 Vpp analog version. Two motorized linear stages can be directly stacked for an XY configuration with a total height of 66 mm . Optional use of a pneumatic counterbalance is available for vertical applications. A mapping option is used to attain improved accuracy. The data is provided from laser interferometer measurements to generate position correction information along the entire travel of the stage.
