Long Travel Piezo Stage, 51mm

This Micronix PPS-20 is a high-precision, long travel linear piezo stage that provides travel range of 51 mm and a resolution of 2 nm.
The attached data sheet enumerates the following features and specifications: PPS-20 model version is made of aluminum body material and features miniature steel roller bearings that provide high stiffness and guiding accuracy for maximum horizontal oriented load of 20 N. This model uses patent-pending multi-phase piezo motor that can provide a maximum speed of 2 mm/s with a MMC-100 controller, while a maximum speed of 10 mm/s with a MMC-110 controller. The stage can achieve a closed loop resolution of 2nm with a digital encoder RSS-22, providing with a bi-directional repeatability of ± 20 nm and uni-directional repeatability of 20 nm. The PPS-20 stage weighs 68 g.
