500mm Travel Range, Motorized Linear Stage with 50nm Resolution

For scanning or high precision applications requiring a large platform this motorized linear stage by PI will meet your needs. The motion platform is 210mm by 210mm with a travel range up to 500mm. The drive system of this long travel linear stage features a servo drive linear motor with preloaded air bearings and integrated linear encoder; for precise smooth motion. Loads of 60 kg can be supported on the large platform and speeds of 1 meter / second can be achieved with the 60kg loads and unloaded the stage can move up to 30 meters /second. Options for this PI stage include base plates made of granite and systems for reducing vibration, XY configures with single and multi-axis motion controllers, and various cable track options to minimize cable drag.
